Taken from the wood of agarwood trees in South Asia, the smell it produces is like the cashmere crewneck sweater of fragrances - comfortable but with a hint of luxury, warm yet refined. Formally this fragrance is called white oud.
Named after Jalāl ad-Dīn Mohammad Rumi, a 13th century poet, mystic and Islamic scholar. Rumi is currently one of the best selling poets worldwide. Rumi's work was originally written predominantly in Persian, but have since been translated into dozens of languages.
